Stanley Jazz Cafe – June 1st – Featuring The Acalanes Jazz Ensemble

 

On Friday, June 1 from 6-10pm, the Stanley multi-use room will be transformed into a Jazz Club, where parents, friends and community members can gather to mingle, eat great food, and hear fabulous live jazz.  This annual event is something we look forward to all year; it is also the sole fundraiser for our wonderful Jazz program.

  • The Stanley Jazz Crusaders
  • The Stanley Jazz Messengers
  • Campolindo Jazz Band
  • Acalanes Jazz Ensemble
  • And more!

Reserved tables and seating available online
Reserved Tables – $125  (seats about 5; limit 2 per family)
Reserved seating – $15
Eventbrite  also allows online donations to the Jazz program–these aren’t required, but are welcome and encouraged.

Dinner will be available for purchase from 5:30-7:00 (cash only)

Choral Spring Concert

Love, Longing, and Remembrance – Next Tuesday night, April 17th, the choirs of Acalanes will be presenting their Spring Concert, “Love, Longing and Remembrance” at 7pm in the PAC. Much Ado About Nothing – Drama

The Acalanes DramaDons present: Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare

Young lovers Hero and Claudio are to be married in one week. To pass the time, they conspire with Don Pedro to set a “lover’s trap” for Benedick, an arrogant confirmed bachelor, and Beatrice, his favorite sparring partner and former love. Meanwhile, the evil Johanna conspires to break up the wedding by accusing Hero of infidelity. In the end, though, it all turns out to be “much ado about nothing.”

Much Ado About Nothing runs April 25, 26, 27, and 28 at 7:00 in the Acalanes Little Theatre.

Tickets are $7.00 for Students/Seniors and $12.00 for General Admission, and are available online or at the door.
